Hope you're all doing well.

We’ve all tasted the crumbs. The quiet numbness that settles in when we grow comfortable with what we can see, touch, and control. We’ve learned to live with the comfortable and the acceptable. But the Holy Spirit is calling us into something much deeper—something that shakes, disrupts, and ultimately sets us on fire.

I’m diving deep into a new series that is destined to wreck your comfortable faith—because it’s time to stop settling for breadcrumbs when God is offering a banquet.

What This Series Will Explore:
Breadcrumbs vs. Banquets.
What if everything you’ve accepted as “normal” in your faith is actually a counterfeit? What if God is inviting you into a deeper hunger that demands more? What if we’re all meant to live with holy desperation—at His feet, burning with desire for more of Him? That’s what this series is about: the contrast between numbness that feels fine, and hunger that burns alive.

I’m Inviting You to Join Us
This isn’t just about reading posts. This is about joining a movement of believers who refuse to settle for crumbs. We’re creating a space where hunger is normal and numbness is unacceptable.

HONOUR! (Romans 13:7)

I was reading Romans 13:7 and it struck me that Honour is divine.

Honour is the currency of kings. If you want to rise, start paying in this divine currency.

Honour isn’t just a good habit; it’s the key that unlocks heaven’s favour. Just ask David—his honour for Saul, even when Saul was trying to kill him, elevated him to the throne.

The world tells you to fight, hustle, and claw your way up. God’s way is surrender. Honour through submission will elevate you higher than any self-made effort.

Honour opens doors no man can shut—just look at Joseph. His honour to God in slavery and prison put him at the top of Egypt.

Submission isn’t weakness—it’s a royal power move. When you honour God’s order, you step into authority, like Daniel did in Babylon.

The more you honour, the higher you rise. Honour is the currency that propels you from servant to sovereign.

Why Do We Stay in Friendships That Compromise Us? (Romans 7:15-16)

"I don’t get it. I know this friendship isn’t good for me… but I stay anyway."
"I see the red flags. I feel drained. But I keep going back."

You Stay Because of Fear of Loneliness

But compromising company is far more dangerous than loneliness.

You Stay Because You Think You Can Change Them

But you’re not their Savior. You may not be able to change a person who doesn’t want to change. Tread carefully and seek counsel accordingly.

You Stay Because You’ve Lowered Your Standards

Every compromise has a cost.
Every ignored red flag dulls your discernment.

When you let your standards slip, subtle compromise sets in:
🔸"You're too deep, relax a little."
🔸"It’s not that serious, everyone does it."
🔸"God understands, don’t overthink it."

Not everyone is suited for the spiritual magnetic field around you.
When you start taking your faith seriously, some people will pull away—or try to pull you back.

Your standards are not “too much”—they are built on the Word & your worth.
True friends respect them.
Whilst the other friends test them.

Your spiritual frequency determines who can stay connected.
Proverbs 13:20 → "The wise walk with the wise, but the companion of fools suffers harm."

If someone is making you compromise your convictions, it's not friendship—it’s a slow fade into diluting your relationship with God. Make amends today, be bold and re-define the boundaries that will serve your purpose and calling on earth.

A Way Forward

Pray for clarity. Ask God to reveal any friendship that is quietly leading you away.
Check the fruit. What is this friendship producing in your life—peace or confusion? Growth or compromise?
Create boundaries. Love people, but don’t let them influence you in the wrong direction.
Find your tribe. Walk with people who sharpen your faith, not dull it.

THE FAITH RESET: HOW TO GO FROM DISCONNECTED TO UNSTOPPABLE

Let’s Cut to the Chase!

If your faith feels weak, boring, or non-existent—you’re not crazy.
You’re just stuck in an old model of faith that was never designed for real transformation.

Most of us were given a hand-me-down faith. A set of rules, a set of beliefs—but not the actual power of God that flips your world upside down.  And now? You’re exhausted. You’re wondering if faith even works. You’re feeling… disconnected.

💡 Guess what? Even the Bible warns about this.

Romans 6 isn’t just a nice verse. It’s a radical blueprint for how you’re supposed to live:

“Our old self was crucified with Him… so that we should no longer be slaves.” – Romans 6:6

If your faith doesn’t feel powerful, it could be that you haven’t been shown how to step into that freedom.

Why You’re Feeling Stuck (And How to Break Out)

Mistake #1: You’re treating faith like a routine instead of a revolution.
✔ Solution: Step into the NEW LIFE of Romans 6:4. Faith is an awakening, not a routine.

Where Do You Start? Answer These First:

  1. What’s the biggest thing making faith feel “off” for you right now?
  2. What do you wish Christianity actually delivered in your life?
  3. When was the last time you felt like God was undeniably real to you?
  4. What’s one thing about faith that’s never made sense to you?
  5. Would you be open to a radical shift in your spiritual life if it meant real power, real peace, and real clarity?

Mistake #2: You’re waiting for a feeling instead of activating real power.
✔ Solution: Romans 6:11 says you must COUNT YOURSELF ALIVE in Christ. That means shifting how you think, act, and engage with God.

Mistake #3: You think faith is about doing more, when it’s actually about surrendering more.
✔ Solution: Less striving, more abiding. Less religion, more resurrection.

What If You Could Flip the Script?

What if faith actually moved you?
What if prayer actually shifted things?
What if you had an encounter with God so real that you could never deny it again?

It may not be about trying harder.
It's a case of needing to wake up.

A sinful past doesn’t disqualify you. A broken heart won’t push Him away. A messed-up life won’t make Him change His mind. YOU are not too far gone. YOU are not beyond redemption. YOU are exactly who He came for.

Grace is the only "shortcut" that exists.

Are you going through a hard time at the moment? Maybe that struggle is the labour room for the birthing of a stronger, un-crushable you!

A lifestyle is a way of living, the style by which you live. A big chunk of our living is influenced by our daily habits.  Kindness in the day-to-day: a gentle word, a warm response gradually build up to a lifetime of ding good and being a light to many.

Something as simple as not understanding who you are can be a big road block!

Have you been affected by this? Let's grab this key today and unlock victories in all areas of our lives.

Interruption in Transmission

Treasures From Acts Series

Bible Reference: Acts 20:9-12

Apostle Paul had been preaching for a while. Suddenly, after a loud bang, there was an interruption in the transmission of his sermon.

The people watched as Apostle Paul left and all they saw for a period was a vacant pulpit.

Some time passed and then Apostle Paul re-mounted the pulpit again, broke bread with them and continued fellowship with them.

The loud bang was a young man falling to his death from the third loft, having slept off.

As he went to address the issue, Apostle Paul knew that there was a message to complete for the souls gathered. He released some words by faith and went back to continue the service.

Later, the young man was restored back to life.

Where you are, there may have been loud sounds and bangs around you that may have interrupted your transmission.

Your ministry may have been put on hold after a sudden disappointment or a terrifying moment. Your duty post may have been vacant for a while because of bewildering and perplexing issues of life. A loss, a gang-up, a conspiracy, a betrayal or something else.

For Apostle Paul, this moment would have been confusion of faces that a young man came alive to his programme and was returned to his family lifeless. It could have been a distraction to that Fellowship.

But Apostle Paul, through the help of the Holy Spirit, ensured that the interruption to the transmission was only temporary and not a permanent end.

Dear Soldier, the souls are still seated awaiting your re-mounting of the pulpit.

That congregation are awaiting your arising from that health challenge. Souls in the land where you are, they are awaiting the brightness of your rising.

Let the interruptions to your transmission not swallow your call. In your confusion, call on Him and lean in to courage and godly counsel. In your sudden hurt, tow the path of healing.

As you wipe your tears and find your way back to that duty post, unimagined glories await you dear gallant soldier.

I’m cheering you on.

Blessings From Obedience

Treasures From Acts Series

Bible Reference: Acts 19:11

His shadow was used to heal the sick.

But Apostle Paul had to first pass through the school of obedience.

Following God’s instructions, he underwent endless travellings by road and sea.

By Acts 18, Apostle Paul had  journeyed from Antioch to Syria and Cilicia.

He had visited Derbe and Lystra, then passed through Phrygia and Galatia. He arrived at Troas, where he had a vision calling for them to go to Macedonia.

He went to Phillipi, then to Samothrace, Neopolis, Amphipolis, Thessalonica, and Berea.

He went to Athens, and to Corinth. After the Macedonian and Greek ministry, he traveled to Ephesus, Caesarea, and back to Antioch.

The school of obedience can be tough, and sometimes we may have to repeat classes.

God’s syllabus can include a range of experiences and instructions that when we submit to them, we come into a higher place with God.

Apostle Paul’s school of obedience passed him through a unique curriculum. There were all manner of journeyings, challenges, beatings and more.

Before the wonderful displays of power at his hand, there were twists and turns, pains, self denials, endless travels, imprisonments and very little convenience.

But Apostle Paul’s cup of glory was filling up with every YES he offered to the Lord, with every act of obedience, with every instruction he followed, with every beating he endured, until he entered into an overflow of power that he did not have to struggle for.

As our YES’s continue to ascend up to Heaven’s gate, an overflow of grace will rain down and permeate our worship and service.

In our own lives, may we find grace to obey God’s instructions, principles and commands in His Word and as we do so surely we shall emerge as wonders to our generation.

Don’t hoard your YES, give it to God and you’ll be glad you did.

The Love that Lifts

Treasures From Acts Series

Bible Reference: Acts 14:19-20

Paul was stoned and left for dead.

The disciples stood around him.

Some were weeping, some praying, some checking to see if he was still alive.

In that circle of love and support, Paul was helped to stand on his feet again. He regained himself and went back to city where he was attacked to continue the work.

The God kind of love is one that is sacrificial, it seeks the betterment of the other and goes the extra mile.

The disciples traded in this currency of biblical love and it formed the invisible glue that bound them together as a unit. It also enabled the rapid growth and expansion of the work committed into their hands.

When we love one another, fellow disciples and non-disciples, with all purity, godliness and biblical wisdom, we are multiplying the grace upon our lives and are bearing witness that we are sent by God.

Is someone down by you? Stoned by afflictions of life?

This is our cue to be an extension of divine love unto them. As we do this in a wholesome and holy way, we shall be the better for it.

Defenders of the Faith

Treasures From Acts Series

Bible Reference: Acts 7:54-55

Virgil van Dijk, William Saliba and Trent Alexander-Arnold are said to be among the top Defenders in the Premier League…

A Defender in football is typically an outfield player who plays in the back of the field and prevents the opposing team from scoring.

I know of a Defender, not in the Premier League now, but in Acts 6 by the name of Apostle Stephen.

He was a Defender, not in football, but a Defender of the Faith.

Stephen’s valiant defence of the faith cost him his life, but led to the increased spread of the Gospel.

This is because following the robust defence of the Gospel by Stephen, the persecution inflicted on the early Jerusalem church intensified.

But as part of God’s master plan, this persecution forced the early Jerusalem Church to disperse beyond the bounds of Jerusalem and reach unto Samaria and Judea, thereby increasing the reach of the Gospel.

In our time, the line of defense that frustrates the kingdom of darkness can be sustained not by good dribbling but by contending for the faith of the fathers.

So, are you a spiritual centre-back? Hold your position. Are you a full-back or left-back? Hold your rank and occupy your post faithfully.

As we do so, in the register of top Defenders of Faith in this generation, our names will be recorded there.

What has inspired you from the Word today?

Conquering In The Combat

Treasures From Acts Series

Bible Reference: Acts 4:2-3

They imprisoned the messengers but could not imprison the message.

The more the rulers commanded silence from the apostles, the more the gospel light roared.

The more the apostles avoided their traps, the fiercer the machinations became.

They sought for evil to accuse them of, they found nothing.

Threats were also tried, such only announced the miracles more.

Strategies of the enemy can change. Their tactics can evolve, but the warrior whose armoury is stocked up can out-strategise the wicked one and render their attempts fruitless.

The heathen may rage, but the Cross-clad warrior will yet rise in spite of their raging.

They may imagine vain things, but the Christ-carrying warrior will see those imagined things come to nought.

In our walk with God, we’re called to reign. But our reign is not a polite walk in the park.

It’s a bloody affair. It’s about uprooting, pulling down, terrorising the terrorisers, reclaiming territories, redirecting generations, passing the baton unbroken, killing evil thought-lines and patterns, all done by wielding the blood-soaked gospel of light.

As the early church began with Word-fuelled might and valour, it will take the same and more to see the work through.

The Gospel was birthed with travailing and will be sustained with travailing in different forms.

As we ensure our weaponry is intact through restocking from God's Word and Fellowship, we shall continue to emerge conquerors in Christ Jesus.

Mystery of Sound

Treasures From Acts Series

Bible Reference: Acts 2:2

A sound accompanied the release of the Holy Spirit. Sounds are frequencies that resonate in the spirit.

Some sounds can engineer divine transformations in our inner man, whilst some other sounds can engineer spiritual devastation.

What sounds are coming OUT of us? Is it the sound of piercing worship to the Lord Jesus? Is it the sound of Scriptures being invoked?

Such sounds can open gateways in the heavens and grant us access to unique treasures.

But what sounds are going INTO you? Is it music engineered by fallen angels? Sounds of strange enticements?

Such a sound can sear one's spiritual senses, enthrone familiar spirits and introduce spiritual leakage.

Forthwith, let the strange sounds cease and let the divine sounds erupt and flow like a river in our lives.

Where our environment, internal and external, have been polluted with sonic frequencies that have caused spiritual interferences, let there be a cleansing.

As we sanitise our spiritual gateways, especially our ears and filter what sounds we let in, may we emerge a vessel that is clean and set apart for the Master’s use.

After the Encounter...

Treasures From John Series

Bible Reference: John 21:3

Thomas put his hands in the sides of Jesus. A chapter later he went a-fishing.

Peter saw Jesus suddenly appear in a room with a closed door. A chapter later, he went a-fishing, undressed.

Encounters can fade, if not sustained. Convictions can be contaminated, if not serviced.

Revelations can awaken and cause a shift, but the fruit can be lost where the heart of the vessel is not fertile, not tilled and immune to brokenness.

That is to say, the spirit man can be touched but one can remain unconverted, when that touch is not preserved with the right decisions, changes, counsel, choices, associations and actions.

Being close to Jesus for three years plus did not break the mindset of “I go a-fishing.”

Experiencing that miracle and touching Jesus' sides and hands is wonderful.

But going the distance with God is loving Him through the wildernesses, through the “encounter-less” phases, loving Him with our commitment, dedication and sacrifices.

In so doing, the encounters with Jesus will be preserved and remain evergreen.

He Showed Up!

Treasures From John Series

Bible Reference: John 6:5-9

Just by showing up, you’re already well on your way to your miracle and to your manifestation.

This lad showed up, and showed up with something. He was present when it mattered.

We don’t know his name, but we know the number of men he was used to feed.

You may think you don’t have anything to offer, but your five loaves could end up feeding 5,000.

Your “little” idea, burden, business, word of encouragement, prayer, contribution, when it’s released can multiply in the Master’s Hands.

So, that tech event for tech giants, go there with your own startup plan. That conference for CEOs, show up with your dream.

That little contribution, that little input, in the right environment, could relocate you to a new level.

The Protocol Bypasser

Treasures From John Series

Bible Reference: John 5:5-8

Telling a sick man to rise and walk was a breach of protocol.

The protocol in force at that time was that the pool will be troubled and then whoever steps in will be healed.

Jesus came on that fateful day and flipped the script.

He comes in, bypasses the protocol in place and introduces to the man a new procedure: “Rise, take your bed and walk.”

The word from Jesus hit the man’s arteries, veins and nerves in the man’s system and it did in an instant what 38 years by the pool could not do.

In our lives, we’ve known Jesus as the Faithful One, the Mighty One, but have you experienced Him as the Protocol Bypasser?

One idea, one instruction from God can catapult a man to a level he may not have toiled so much for. With the Protocol Bypasser, the laws of Medes and Persia are changed for you. You come into a room and unique doors are opened, without struggle.

In different aspects of our lives, we may have hitherto been waiting, hoping, expecting.

But now, because the Protocol Bypasser is in town, we’ll wait no longer, instead we shall arise, we’ll spring up, we’ll take up our beds and walk.

18:32 Sunday 19 January 2025

Hey! How is your week going?

I don't know about you but life can oftentimes feel so fast-paced.  Taking a moment out of the busy day to be still, to exhale and pen down some thoughts can be incredibly refreshing and also a strategic way to regain focus.

If you think so too, let's agree to find that 5 or 10 minutes in the day to read God's Word, pen down that "note to self" , "lessons from the Word" or reflections from daily interactions...

God bless you as you come along on this journey through the Word with me!

With Love X
